BILL TO WRITE UP. Over 275 pieces were used in the construction of the dramatic bell tower in the center of the Jesuit High School campus. The pieces ranged from 13 lbs. to over a ton. The tan color of the precast was chosen to match the plaster finish on some nearby buildings.

Since many of the pieces were L-shaped, the vertical surfaces (as cast) were etched, sacked, and acid-etched again to produce a consistent finish. This acid-etched finish minimized any change in appearance which might have occurred when the masonry was cleaned.
